Efficiency Evaluation of Electric Bicycle Power Transmission Systems

چکیده

In this study, a method for estimating the efficiency of electric bicycle power train systems consisting typical components, such as an motor, gears, sprockets, and chains is presented. order to calculate system, relationship between drive motor torque road-load that exerted on rear wheel was derived, considering kinematic inertia effects friction losses transmission elements. Among factors influence efficiency, it found play dominant role, while are insignificant. The bicycles due losses, chain system bearing in sprocket wheel, were quantified. To validate proposed calculation procedure, experimental used, which driving could be quantitatively assessed, actual measured chassis dynamometer. It shown given torque, estimated dynamometer obtained by exhibits good correlation, each component This provides practical accurate means at design stage improve bicycles.
